If you’re looking for a home security camera that isn’t a price buster (but isn’t the cheapest in cost and craftsmanship either), the high resolution Lorex day/night security camera has received several good reviews over at Amazon.
The indoor/outdoor camera has a weatherproof design and a high-resolution (1/3″ CCD with 480 lines of resolution) color picture by day. Reviews state that the picture is particularly crisp for day time viewing. At night the 30 infrared LED emitters allow you to see activity even in low light conditions.
The security camera can be wall or ceiling mounted, and installation is fairly simple. A removable sunshade helps with glare in high sun situations and keeps rain from hitting the lens if it is exposed.
